If You Really Knew Me.

I've just recently come across a new TV show on MTV. It's called "If You Really Knew Me". I'm sure some if not most of you all have heard about it but if you haven't taken some time out of your day to watch it, I suggest you do that. When I began watching it, I expected it to be a sappy, corny and a fake show made just for ratings. That judgment I had made so quickly and easily had only proven that I needed to watch that show. The shows main purpose is to teach its viewers and students and faculty apart of it that we're taught to put up a wall and we forget that others have walls as well. While watching this I began to think about my life and the people in it. I try to be insightful, bright and happy all the time because I know it makes others happy. I am a very cheerful person but that doesn't mean I don't have a wall put up either. I've realized that I too pass judgment, I can easily hurt someone like someone can easily hurt me, I sometimes say things I don't mean to seem strong or comical. If I have hurt anyone while doing this then I am publicly apologizing for that. I would love to speak with you about this and apologize in a more personal way. Please contact me because from this day forward, I will try and rid of these habits. I don't want a negative thought about me planted in someones head. Yes, people will think and feel what they want, but if I had any role in that conclusion then it is my job to try and fix it. Life is too short to hate others or think negative thoughts about them. I am learning as I go, I am no where near perfect, but I know I am headed in the right direction. If you have a chance to watch that show, please do it. It will change your outlook on life, the way you treat people, and how you view yourself. This will only work if you accept the challenge, apologize for your wrong doings, and want to make a change in your life. If you really knew me...you'd know I would never want to hurt anyone. Accept the challenge and Be The Change! :)
